The staff was very nice and very helpful. The location was good, with all the main transports and Colosseum near by. The hotel building was old but still in good shape.

The hotel is said to be 4 stars, but I would not give it more then 3. The building is old as all the equipments, and the rooms noise isolation was poor.

Central location to train and bus service.Very clean rooms.Continental brekfast was good and all staff helpful and friendly. It was nice to be able to have coffee on arrival!!!

Slight noise from early morning trafficwould be my only criticism

We particularly appreciated the friendly and hospitable staff.

The air conditioning in our room is not switched on until the summer is officially classed as starting. This made it rather too warm for us English guests, who are used to cold weather!

Clean rooms, large bathroom, kind staff, average quality breakfast

Convenient to city sights. Good value. Comfortable rooms. Lovely eccentric barman called Alberto.

Reception lady and one man was tense and impatient. Other reception staff were fine.

The male nite clerk was the best that I had encountered in my month long travel across Europe. He had a positive cheerful attitude. We asked for a map of the city, which he provided and informed us of all the sites that are a must see and transportation to use. If all clerks were like him travelling would be much more enjoyable.

The bed needs to be renewed.

The location is ideal. It is near the center and everything is 15min walking time.

The hotel its old. Needs a renewal and no way a 4* hotel.

The location of this hotel is second to none. Perfect for just about everything. Walking distance to most of the big names and less then 5 mins to 3 different metro stations, to get you to the ones you dont fancy walking to.

Was disapointed to find the hotel bar not open on 3 of the 4 evenings we were there. Even when we asked, we were told the bar was closed.

The location was very close to the train station, and centrally located for all sites of interest. The room was pretty basic, but it had adequate room and was very clean. The first room I was given smelled heavily of smoke, but the man at the reception desk quickly found me another, and had me check it to make sure that it was okay. Wi-Fi was 8 euros a day, but worked well. The breakfast was included and was great! A whole pitcher of espresso and another of steamed milk served individually to you at your table, along with an extensive buffet to choose from. Service was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is centrally located, so the street noise was a little loud until around 11:00 p.m. Wear earplugs if it bothers you, or go to sleep after traffic dies down.

The location was terrific; pretty much in close proximity (walking distance) to many of the city's sights.

It was comfortable they do need to do some renovations as the place is good yet it needs some money spent on it the place is old and tired

I thought the room was charming and the double doors were a bonus as a single woman travelling alone. It is an hotel I would recommend to anyone.

Absolute disbalance of price and quality: terrible grey building, very old poor room with dirty grey windows (nothing comon with photos on the site), poor breakfast, and extremely high price (450EUR first night, 200EUR second, 180 Third).

    breakfast is very italy style

housekeeping service is not quite good

Hotel was in a very god position, easy to find ( straight from the train) and within walking distance ( 15mins) to the Colleseum. We also walked to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps( about 20mins). The staff were very helpful, room was comfortable enough, as well as exactly as represented on the web site. I had booked well before our stay which was in high summer season, I was going to add an extra night but the cost had risen astronomically if i booked during the high season..... make sure you book very early! I had a welcomming email from the hotel asking if we needed picking up at the airport and ensuring us our arrival was expected and they would do all they could to make our stay wonderful.

Everything was fine, the room was large by European standards and the bathroom even larger than we expected.
